Addressing the audience, Minister Rane shared, “I Thank & extend my heartfelt congratulations to the organisers of the International Fishery Tech Expo for creating a truly world-class platform that brings together technology, policy, and potential—all under one roof. Maharashtra is committed to becoming one of the top five states in fisheries, and events like this are essential to accelerating that journey. I invite technology providers, investors, and industry leaders to partner with us as we shape the future of India’s fisheries and aquaculture sector—starting right here in Maharashtra.”

The inaugural edition of the International Fishery Tech (IFT) Expo 2025 opened today with energy, excitement, and an overwhelming response from across the fisheries, cold storage, aquaculture, seafood processing, and allied industries. As India’s first-of-its-kind trade show dedicated solely to fisheries technology, IFT Expo is making history while setting the tone for what the future of the blue economy will look like.
The show brings together leading Indian and international players, each unveiling breakthrough solutions that address the evolving needs of the sector. Tayyib Global Solutions presented the emerging role of GDST standards in transforming seafood supply chains. As the first global standard for digital seafood traceability, GDST ensures seamless data flow from catch to consumer. The session showcased how TGS is enabling Indian exporters to adopt these global traceability benchmarks and build trust in international markets. |
